Our client, a rapidly growing, SaaS company based in NYC, has engineered its cloud data platform so that companies of all sizes from start up to enterprise level can analyze sensitive consumer data while adhering to regulations, compliance, and privacy standards. Their mission: to provide the very best user experience for an increasingly decentralized data world, tackling the challenges and opportunities where privacy is of utmost importance. 

We are looking for their first marketing hire to take their product to market. You will report to the Chief Business Officer (a direct report of the CEO) and be involved in all aspects of the business from foundational research, to owning the GTM strategy, to building/executing an integrated marketing campaign, and analyzing/iterating post launch. This role is critical to the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Will own product strategy from beginning to end: conducting market research, determining fit for market, building roadmap, partnering with sales and product to craft messaging for investors, conducting a fully integrated digital marketing campaign, analyzing and iterating post launch
  • Research Company products to understand unique value propositions and how they disrupt the market and translate technical details into benefits for the user

  • Conduct foundational research of competitors in order to analyze market trends and effectively position products

  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)

  • Work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product, sales) to implement strategies

  • Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a  Product Marketing Manager for a B2B SaaS company

  • Must have experience in owning the product marketing strategy from end to end: foundational research stage to post launch analysis. 

  • Must be able to guide a company step by step from product market fit stage, to go to market, to launch, to post launch ROI analysis. 

  • Previous experience as an Account Executive, Technical Sales, or Sales Engineer ideal
  • Experience driving analytics led, successful, integrated marketing campaigns. 

  • Background in design and copy writing is a plus

  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)

  • Experience driving market analytics and conducting research. Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
