Company Overview:

Captivate Talent is partnering with a predictive vulnerability management platform that quickly and efficiently discovers, analyzes, and offers remediation solutions for cyber security risk.  Their customers include leading SaaS, financial, publishing, education and legal institutions across North America.  The Founder and Leadership Team are seasoned within the cyber security space, understanding industry gaps and pain points, positioning their product for wild success.  We are working with them to identify a head of marketing. 

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in SaaS or tech-related B2B product marketing.  We are looking for an experienced, data-driven marketer who understands the nuances of the cyber security industry, a big-picture thinker with a history of execution, an independent but communicative team player, and someone who will thrive in coming up with creative ways to solve challenges. This candidate should be comfortable taking initiative, collaborate effectively with a talented team, and have the ability to suggest and carry out practical actions to deal with issues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently drive growth in top-of-funnel by generating new Marketing Qualified Leads through ownership, development, and execution of lead generation campaigns. Own budget to acquire MQLs, and work to drive those costs down.

  • Develop and manage all marketing budgets and objectives. 

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to seamlessly transition MQLs to SQLs.

  • Own promotional programs to drive interest and sales such as webinars, trade shows, and manage our social media presence and blog content and cadence.

  • Create a wide range of marketing and sales assets including emails, demo scripts, pitch decks, case studies, demos, and white papers. Manage website. 

  • Manage resources to develop and execute PR programs to advance communications and brand engagement, build brand reputation, and increase visibility with industry experts, customers, and analysts.

  • Attend and participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis.

  • Oversee and grow the marketing department and mentor staff.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years B2B marketing experience, with recent focus on SaaS, ideally marketing to a highly technical persona

  • Strong writing skills and a knack for content strategy

  •  Must be able to work West Coast hours.

  • Advanced skills within collaboration tools, Google Analytics, Paid Ad strategy, Salesforce, Hubspot.
